Bucyrus Community Hospital welcomed Heather Auck, CNP to their medical staff in August, 2011.

Ms. Auck, collaborates with Dr. Hanna as a Certified Nurse Practitioner. She attended school at Graceland University where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Master of Science in Nursing, and completed her training for  Family Nurse Practitioner. As a CNP, Ms. Auck’s goal is to provide healing, comfort, support, and education to her patients.

A Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) is a registered nurse (RN) who has completed advanced education (a minimum of a master’s degree) and training in the diagnosis and management of both acute and chronic illnesses. CNPs provide a broad range of healthcare services and maintain close working relationships with physicians. CNPs spend quality time with patients with an effort to learn which treatment options are best for them. CNPs often serve as a patient’s regular healthcare provider. www.bchonline.org
